Shipping essentials charged me $19.95 without my consent.

I called them. It took several minutes to get through their audio service, but I did by pressing a few random buttons.

Operator: "thank you for calling... blah, blah."

Me: "I have an unauthorized charge of $19.95 and would like to be refunded."

Operator: "We apologize. We will issue a refund and you will see it within 2-5 business days."

She sounded extremely used to my type of call. What I don't understand is how they were able to obtain my credit card information? Can anyone explain this to me? FREAKY! 2cd0fb7

They recently got me too. Placed an order through YoungExplorers.com for kid's toys... this showed up on next month's bill and when I called and cancelled, they said what the source was.

Extremely PO'd .... this should be illegal

I have been ripped off for probably $600 or more. They got my info through restaurants.com in 2009 and never sent me any information for this fictitious service.

I have an account through Career Builder and they emailed me with an offer to have a free look at my credit score. it stated that if I didn't cancel my membership within a certain amount of time that I would then be charged. I canceled it within 5 minutes of looking at my report. All of a sudden I have a mysterious charge on my checking account for $14.95 for MVQ. Which was NOT the name of the company I had originally used. When I called to cancel the membership I even told the person on the phone that I was cancelling because I wanted to take advantage of the FREE offer. My bank flagged it as an unauthorized charge, however they did say that it is a reoccuring charge so I will kee my eyes open. Also have e-mailed the company 2 times and STILL have not heard back from them as to how they feel it is necessary to charge me for a service I never used or membership I never signed up for.

I just realized that I had been being charged by this company for some time by this company and I never signed up with them. Trying to stop this online just takes you in circles. On the way to the bank to stop any future payments.

Just received my credit card statement and you have charged $19.95 to my account. This was obviously a scam and I will be contacting them to report you. Don't even know what Shop Essentials is. This was not something they told me about when they were scamming me.

Am asking that you refund this.

I just found out I have been charge by shop essential since May 2009 to November 2011. They have steal around 1,000 from my account. How *** am I! I went to my bank and ask them to stop the payment but the bank said I can't, and the only way to stop further charges is to close the account. So I immediately close the account first to prevent further charges. And my next step is to get a lawyer to file suit against them.

I have been charged various amounts for the last year. I have talked to someone on several occasions and they assured me that the charges have been stopped. I just found another 2 charges withdrawn from my bank account! How do I get them to stop! I thought I had this taken care of months ago?

The solution to this criminal activity is for every single person to file an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I am working with the BBB to start a class action suit. This is only possible if each of us files a complaint with their local BBB. In addition, I am working with the Dept. of Justice and Dept. of Commerce to come at this company and Vitacost, as well. Please, please file a complaint immediately and we will begin to take the fight to Shopping Essentials. Don't get mad, get even! Let's take them down.

I was victim of this company after buying vitamins from a company called Vitacost, who sold my debit card information. The charges started one month later and the company name was spelt differently on early bank statements to further complicate finding out what was going on.

Please file so that we might gain strength by working together. I will check back.
